Skeleton.css

  • Skeleton is a minimal CSS Grid framework
  • Can be found here: http://getskeleton.com/
  • Downloading Skeleton will yield a basic Boilerplate in a zip file
  • Open the contents and review what you see inside.
  • You can use Skeleton instead of writing your own grid system
  • Skeleton follows the 12 column principal (so does Bootstrap and Foundation)

Grid Example

  <!-- columns should be the immediate child of a .row -->
  <div class="row">

    <div class="eleven columns">Eleven</div>
  </div>

  <!-- just use a number and class 'column' or 'columns' -->
  <div class="row">
    <div class="two columns">Two</div>
    <div class="ten columns">Ten</div>
  </div>

  <!-- there are a few shorthand columns widths as well -->
  <div class="row">
    <div class="one-third column">1/3</div>
    <div class="two-thirds column">2/3</div>
